CANCELLATION
Cotswold Cottage Holidays strongly recommends Clients to take out their own holiday cancellation insurance. It is advisable that the client is to check that your travel insurance cover is adequate.
With the correct travel insurance in place you will be able to cover a cancellation and to fulfil your obligations, knowing you are protected from whatever may happen before or during your holiday and to enjoy that peace of mind.
When an agreement of dates and price between the client and Cotswold Cottage Holidays is agreed then that forms the contract.
Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason shall be communicated to us by email and addressed to Cotswold Cottage Holidays. On receipt of notice of cancellation, Cotswold Cottage Holidays will seek to re-let the property for the period of booking.
If Cotswold Cottage Holidays succeeds in re-letting the property for the whole period it shall refund all the monies paid less the initial deposit which is not refundable.
If Cotswold Cottage Holidays is unable to re-let the property the Client still remains legally responsible for the agreed contract,
for the balance and all then the full rental amount is forfeit as it not refundable.
The client is responsible for the full payment of the period that you have booked the contracted dates, and is not transferable.
You may not transfer your rental contract to another person without mutual agreement. If you do not stay at the Property during the contracted holiday period but your guests do, you will still be legally responsible for all your obligations.
Should a directive from the UK Government be in place during the period the cottage is booked then a mutual agreed date or credit will take place in order to arrange to transfer the booking to the agreed mutual date. The Client still remains responsible for the balance to be paid by the due date in order for the transfer of the dates to take place.
